New Recruits
Welcome 2011 Cadets!
Our newest two cadets, Alyssa White and Matthew Kusi-Appauh joined the Management Cadetship program in February 2011. They have been a welcome addition to the program, with Matthew beginning his time in the Financial Services division, and Alyssa in Human Resources. Both were officially welcomed to the University during a morning tea with the Vice-Principal (Administration), Chris Grange.
Matt is studying a Bachelor of Commerce (Dean’s Scholar), majoring in Management and International Business. He completed his high school studies at Smith’s Hill High School in Wollongong, where he was awarded the All-Round Medal. He was also involved in many of the school’s programs. Matt enjoys doing adventurous outdoor activities such as rock-climbing, caving and rafting. Matt has been heavily involved with the Scouts throughout high-school and is a Queen’s Scout.
Alyssa is also studying a Bachelor of Commerce (Dean’s Scholar). She attended Elderslie High School which is located in Sydney’s South Western Region, where she was heavily involved in the school’s extracurricular activities including sporting and public speaking teams, as well as tutoring younger students. Alyssa enjoys playing a variety of sports, and has succeeded in many sporting endeavours, such as swimming, dancing, basketball and water polo. She also on her area’s Semi-Finalist Debating team for 6 years, and was a recipient of the Macarthur Credit Union award for Business and Finance for two years.
Both Matthew and Alyssa are looking forward to the opportunity to apply their classroom knowledge to the workplace, and also use their experience in the workplace to assist in their studies.
