Stolen, Forged and Lost Permits
If you have your entry permit stolen or if you lose it. You must report this to the Police Assistance Line and obtain a Police event number. You can then lodge your report to Security. Security staff will endorse your report so that you may obtain a replacement permit from Personnel & Financial Services Division.

Possession of and use of any stolen or lost permit is a criminal offence. The manufacture or use of a forged or altered permit is a criminal offence. Where an Authorised Person detects the commission of a criminal offence in these circumstances an Authorised Person may conduct an investigation and call upon assistance from Police. The Authorised Person may use their discretion in issuing a fine for the offence that a valid permit is not displayed upon the vehicle. This may also result in internal disciplinary procedures and the calling of Police to pursue criminal charges.
Permit Placement
Reserved, UOW and Disabled permit holders are required to display their permit on the driver’s side of the windscreen. Permits must not be placed behind tinted areas of the windscreen where it is difficult for it to be seen or be read. Permits displayed in parts of the windscreen where they cannot be read may incur a fine, as Parking Enforcement Officers may not be able to check its validity.
Tickets from ticket machines must be displayed on the dashboard with the correct side up. The incorrect display of the ticket may result in the issue of a fine.
