WHAT

A Day of Festival activities and performances displaying and celebrating Chinese Culture.
A free BBQ will also be available. 


Engineers without Borders - Appropriate Technology Display

Jugglers Lawn (just East of the Duck Pond Lawn)

 WHAT

Showcase of technology that can be made to do useful work, like cooking or sanitizing water, at an affordable cost and using local materials, in ways that do the least possible harm to local communities and the environment

 

Dr Mary Zournazi - Author and Book Session Keywords to War  

WHERE

Kemira Rooms 1&2 (UniCentre Building 11), 1.30 to 2.30pm 

WHAT

UOW Academic Dr Mary Zournazi has had an incredible year, having just participated at the recent Sydney Writer's Festival and having just had her latest book Keywords to War published.
Dr Zournazi will be speaking about Keywords to War and playing clips from her ABC radio series based on the book at an author & book session as part of International Week. Pre-signed copies of Keywords and War will be available.

International Karaoke  

 WHERE

From 4.30pm in the Uni Bar

 WHAT

Karaoke in the Uni Bar this Tuesday will be given an International Feel with people given the opportunity to sing Karaoke in languages other than English. 
If you have any Karaoke in languages other than English please bring them along on the night or contact Katya at katya@uow.edu.au  

 

Study Abroad & Exchange Information Session - UK and ASIA

Study Abroad and Exchange Office will be running an Information Session for students interested in International Exchange to either the UK or ASIA.
Information will be given and returned UOW exchange students and students from overseas currently studying at UOW will share their tips and experiences.
