Help implement positive and sustainable change by becoming a UOW Environment Champion.
UOW Environment Champions play an important role in promoting the University’s sustainability initiatives. If you are already green, or want to be greener then you can lead the way by encouraging your fellow colleagues to be environmentally friendly. UOW Environment Champions help us to reach a wider and more diverse range of staff and students to gather ideas, opinions and feedback on environmental initiatives. Champions effectively become the representatives for their respective area.
By becoming a Champion you will receive support and information about the activities of Environment Unit. Whether it’s talking with colleagues, distributing information or helping out at events, the level of involvement is up to you and your workplace supervisor. They are also eligible to apply for access to the DASH (Data Analytics Self Service Hub) Energy Management Analysis module. This allows the Environment Champion to analyse electricity usage across campus and "your building".
By becoming an Environmental Champion you not only help the Environment Unit engage with the University community, but you become part of a network of environmental innovation. The Environment Unit are keen to hear about your ideas and collaborate on projects you believe would be worthwhile.
