The Champions

UOW Environment Champions play an important role in promoting the University’s sustainability initiatives. If you are already green, or want to be greener then you can lead the way by encouraging your fellow colleagues to be environmentally friendly.

By becoming a Champion you will receive support and information about the activities of Environmental & Sustainability Initiatives (ESI) team. Whether it’s talking with colleagues, distributing information or helping out at events, the level of involvement is up to you and your workplace supervisor.

Help implement positive and sustainable change by becoming a UOW Environment Champion.

As a result of a  joint initiative of the Performance Indicator Project & Enviornmental & Sustainability Initiatives Unit Environmental Champions are eligible to apply for access to the PIP's Energy Management Analysis.

This module will enable you to

• Analyse Electricity Usage across campus and "your building".
• Analyse information across each hour of the day and highlight trends of Usage.
• Report on the result of any inititatives undertaken.
• Understand the relationsship between electricity usage and CO2 emissions.
