Facilities 

The Science Centre is open to the public every day, including most public holidays. The centre has over 100 interaactive exhibitions that are displayed in the two-storey Exhibit Hall. The Planetarium offers exciting laser shows, and the Observatory has a powerful telescope plus there are always plenty of entertaining science shows which explore the interactive fields of science! The centre also provides a school outreach program called Star Trails.

The University of Wollongong Psychology Clinic provides low-cost, high quality psychological treatment and assessment services to members of the public.

The Clinic is part of the University's professional training program in Psychology. Postgraduate students working towards higher degrees (Masters, Doctorate and PhD) conduct these sessions under the supervision of experienced senior clinicians who are both registered clinical psychologists and academic staff of the University.

The Futureworld Eco-Technology Centre (ETEC) is an exciting facility open to the public that demonstrates innovative environmentally friendly technologies. The Centre takes bookings for school and tour groups.

The University of Wollongong Library was the first Library to win an Australian Business Excellence Award in 2000 and the first in Australia to achieve accreditation against the Investors in People and the International Customer Service standards.

Today, after an extensive $9 million renovation the Library has expanded its range of resources and services to match the growth of the University.

The Alumni Bookshop is run by volunteers and sells a diverse range of quality secondhand books; fiction, non-fiction and textbooks, at very reasonable prices.

URAC provides top-class fitness and sporting facilities including an aquatic centre, health and sporting clubs and lunchtime sports. URAC caters for all types of health, fitness and social needs through the provision of sports clubs and café facilities.

The Woolyungah Indigenous Centre supports Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander and other Indigenous students and scholars to undertake high quality undergraduate and postgraduate education by developing curriculum, facilitating career opportunities and forging partnerships with centres.

Visit the UniBar any day of the week. Popular bands frequent the UniBar and there are always different events each day of the week from Wine on Wednesdays to Happy Hour on Fridays!

UniMovies is a campus club afiliated with Wollongong UniCentre. From February to November, UniMovies screen every Wednesday night.Admission to any screening is currently $4 if tickets are purchased in advance of the box-office opening, and $5 on the night of the show.

The University offers a comprehensive range of services and facilities, including childcare, entertainment, and accommodation services.
