Staff 'Help Grow UOW Cares' and receive a FREE plant for their office. Commencing in May 2008 (ending in July), the promotional campaign was an initiative of the Workplace Giving Steering Committee and it encouraged staff to sign-up to UOW Cares.
UOW makes every cup count at its 'Big Morning Teas.' UniAdvice and Buildings and Grounds create a stir for cancer research, raising over $200 for UOW Cares charity, the Cancer Council. Read more here.
Over 20 enthusiastic staff attended the UOW Cares Champions Information Session, 30 April 2008, to learn more about the University's workplace giving program. The role of 'champions' is to promote the program within Faculties and Schools and act as a liaison person between the UOW Cares Committee and their workplace. Read more here.
