UniBar

UniBar open their doors to the UOW Campus and wider community hosting a broad variety of gigs. Offering a casual, relaxed atmosphere with affordable meals and drinks and regular happy hour, visit the UniBar.

Places to Eat & Shop

No matter what you're craving, you'll be sure to find something on campus to satisfy you - from coffee and cake, to Indian, Korean, Pizza and Pide - you can explore the world through UOW campus cuisine. There is also a wide selection of retail and service outlets on campus including IGA supermarket, Banking, Australia Post, General Practice, Dentist, STA Travel, UniShop and a Hair/Beauty salon. Kids Uni

Kids' Uni provides care and education for children 6 weeks through to 12 years. Offering services including long day care, after school care and vacation care, Kids Uni provides quality child care for the community.

Library

Guest library membership is available to residents of Wollongong and Shoalhaven Local Government Areas. Community members are invited to access the many library facilities including the art exhibition space, quiet study and research areas and copying and printing facilities. Early Start Discovery Space

Australia’s only dedicated ‘children’s museum’, and the first-of-its-kind in the world based on a university campus, The Early Start Discovery Space offers a hands-on creative learning venue specifically designed for children, from birth to 10 years, and their accompanying families, carers, educators and teachers. Campus Tree Walk

UOW has planted more than 50,000 mostly native trees and plants on the Wollongong campus since the University grounds were converted from farmland in the 1950s. The self-guided Campus Tree Walks have been developed to highlight the unique species and communities present in the Wollongong, Illawarra and South Coast regions.
