His colleagues speak of his genuine enthusiasm and readiness to volunteer his services to assist across faculties at the University. He assisted the Faculty of Education with its Sun Centre of Excellence and presented a program within the Faculty of Science’s Siemens Science Experience. He has also raised funding through his role with the Apple University Consortium to send staff from across the campus to training events and conferences and he has invested a significant amount of his own funds into the University Art Collection to purchase indigenous artworks to be placed in the Informatics Faculty corridor for the enjoyment of staff and students.
