Wollongong Surf Leisure Resort

Overview

Wollongong Surf Leisure Resort is a family beachfront resort located on 25 acres of spacious living environment, 4km north of Wollongong CBD and 1 hour south of Sydney, in the beautiful Illawarra region.

The student accommodation we offer is ideal for families with young children, couples and singles. It is  fully self contained , open planned with kitchen and ensuite facilities. All linen is supplied, except towels for swimming. Bedding is in an open plan area consisting of 1 double bed and 1 set of single bunk beds. Maximum 2 persons per unit is permitted.

Onsite facilities include 25m indoor heated swimming pool, spa and sauna, outdoor tennis courts, putt putt golf, bike hire and games room.

We are located within a short walk to the FREE Wollongong Bus Shuttle which operates to the University of Wollongong via north Wollongong, the CBD and most city areas. We are also close by to other bus services and two railways stations.

In addition to the range of facilities available at Wollongong Surf Leisure Resort, students will have access to student support programs organised by UOW Accommodation Services.

Wollongong Surf Leisure Resort is suitable for undergraduate and postgraduate students.

Fees

Long term student stays
Staying for a confirmed and leased signed period of 3 months.

• Twin share accommodation in an open plan motel style budget Unit (maximum 2 persons per unit)
  
• $420.00 per unit per week rent 
  
• A three (3) month lease must be agreed upon and signed
  
• (20 February 2012 to 30 June 2012) Residential Lease Pack $9.45
  
• $1000 Bond per unit is required
  
• Rent must be paid two (2) weeks in advance at all times
  
• The unit will be serviced weekly
  
• Linen supplied; Beach/Swimming Towels not supplied
  
• Only lease holders permitted onsite; No visitors
  
• No excessive noise at any time
  
• No excessive alcohol consumption; No parties/social gatherings onsite permitted

Short Term Student stays

VISITING LECTURERS/PROFESSORS

All visiting Lecturers and Professors to the University of Wollongong will receive a discount of 15% off all accommodation rates from the Standard Pricing List. (excluding Public Holiday/Long Weekends and school holidays. )

Wollongong Surf Leisure Resort is a commercial operation and is not managed by the University of Wollongong.  Applications to live at Wollongong Surf Leisure Resort are made through the UOW Accommodation Services website, and all offers and contractual arrangements are made directly with Wollongong Surf Leisure Resort.
