International House

International House ("I-House") is a home for 220 residents from a wide variety of cultural backgrounds with approximately 25-30 nations represented. IH has been providing this experience for over 25 years- the original student accommodation at the University of Wollongong.

I-House is superbly located in an Australian semi-bushland setting. A 10-15 minute walk to main campus, 15 minutes to the spectacular North Beach and 15 minutes to Wollongong CBD. The railway station is 3 minutes walk - just 80 minutes to the centre of Sydney- a truly international city.

I-House is reputed for its strong community spirit- known as a "five star community"- and for celebration of its diverse cultural mix. I-House, University of Wollongong, is part of International Houses Worldwide, an affiliation of 16 International Houses united by the mission "to provide students of different nationalities and diverse cultures with the opportunity to live an learn together in a community of mutual respect, understanding and international friendship".
