Global Highway - Another success in 2012

Since 2005, students living in the residences of University of Wollongong have organised Global Highway, an event held on campus to celebrate the cultural diversity of students at UOW Living. The entire University community is invited to participate and learn about the richness of global diversity that exists in the University residences.

A highway of stalls representing the student’s nation are set up on the campus. At each stall, participants can take place in an activity or watch a performance that represents the country.

On 29 November 2011, the NSW Minister for Citizenship and Communities, Victor Dominello, presented Accommodation Services at the University of Wollongong with the Government Award at the 2011 National Multicultural Marketing Awards.  Click here to read more.
