Background

I am a Senior Lecturer at the School of Computing and Information Technology (SCIT) at the University of Wollongong (UOW). My research work mainly concerns the field of robotics, sensors, teleoperation, user interfaces, virtual reality, electro-tactile feedback, self-assembly, hand and body tracking, gaze tracking, head pose tracking, gesture recognition, VR immersion & embodiment, tele-presence, adaptive robot control systems, artificial intelligence, genetic algorithms, neural networks, fuzzy locic, robotic trading systems, intelligent data analysis, software development, distributed systems, operating systems. I have considerable experience in using various input and output devices, like Kinect, TOF cameras, Swiss Ranger, Meta Glasses, stereo disparity cameras, Leap Motion, Oculus Rift, CTFM sonar.
